Why do you need a mortgage application review?

Financial institutions are in business to make money.  While they advertise wanting to save you money, many make the mortgage process challenging to understand.  In doing so, it is easy for them to include hidden fees or offer too high of interest rates, and as consumers, we tend not to question it and end up paying more than anticipated.
